Parties, Parties, and More Parties!

So these past few months have been insanely busy!
I have been planning baby showers & birthday parties and I love it!

So in July we had a baby shower for my cousin Brittany who is having twins!
Kyleigh and Kyrin are expected to enter this world by October.
I made my first ever Diaper Cakes!

Jungle Fun

We had the baby shower at a local community center.  It was a great location!
Not too pricey.  Playground for children. Full kitchen.
Outdoor fire pit. Picnic tables. Easy to find.
Decorating was fun!

I made the tissue pom pom's hanging from the ceiling.

I also made the flower balls decorating the food table.

I think momma is ready to have those babies!  And since it is twins they will probably be here before October!

This past weekend I had 2 birthday parties and 3 little girls to get gifts for!
Such fun since my babies are not babies anymore :(

I spend the better half of Saturday evening baking cupcakes!
It was an exhausting evening but Amber and I enjoyed it so much!
I got this new silicone cake pan from Bed Bath & Beyond
& it is fabulous!  And super easy!

Big Top Cupcake!

The finished product!  Not too shabby for a 1st timer :)

I also found this giant cookie cake pan at Bed Bath & Beyond.
Had to get it!

A giant chocolate chip cookie!

Upcoming is my daughter's 14th birthday!  Wow!  We are planning an Ice Cream Party/Cupcake!
She isn't much of a cake person :)
but loves some ice cream.  The plan:
To buy all flavors of ice cream, with all the toppings!
Make a giant cupcake (maybe that looks like an ice cream cone)
Some super cute decorations.
And lots of family and friends.

I have come to love a new website called Pinterest!  You can follow me by clicking here.
This website is amazing!  You find something you like, pin it
& viola!  You now have a picture and the link to find it again.
Something else that is super spectacular you can find most anything
you are looking for right on the pinterest website.  Needless
to say, I am spending a great deal of time on this website
for all my party planning ideas.

Here is a sneak peak at some thoughts for my daughters ice cream party
and my friend, Donna's upcoming baby shower
(a sweet treats theme) How cute is that!?!

Notice the tissue pom poms?  :)

As mentioned above, I am planning my daughter's birthday
but also my another baby shower.
Donna is not due until January but...
due to out of town relatives, the holidays,
and to give 1st time mom and dad some time to get everything they want & need
we are having it a little early.

The Sweet Treats theme is going to be adorable!  I find out if it is a boy or girl at
the end of this week!  And I couldn't be more excited :)
I'll post more pics later about the baby shower and the final results of the ice cream party.

Till then....check me out on Pinterest!  It is every decorator, photographer,
party planner, DIY, crafty, designer's, dream!
